Frostfire Event

« 2018 Odyssey’s theme was Fire and Ice as you could guess with its name Frostfire. We saw how much you appreciated this Odyssey. On the opposite, you have less liked our skins about Olympus and Tartarus and you purchased much less skins. According to our sales department, we know our idea selling skins in bundles and not in chests is the best for you and you lose the idea of easy quests for a lesser reward and hidden rewards you only discover after having purchased the bundle. Therefore, we decided Fire and Ice theme to make its comeback. But since, legally, Frostfire was the name of the Odyssey, we launch the free event Firefrost that will last all game long. You will get the access to the event and even more! An Adventure is included and a new rule about Fire and Ice: the Fire skins will deal more damage to Ice skins and Ice skins will slow Fire skins! This rule will be applied in ALL game modes.«

Firefrost Free Access

► Access to Quests
You can access Fire Quests and Ice Quests at the same time but you can only accept one of each each day.

► Fire Quest I : Ember
- As Ne Zha, perform four Critical Hits with with one use of Fire Wind Wheels ultimate ability.
- • Reward: Flame Ward Skin

► Fire Quest II : Barbecue
- As Ares, kill a Fire Giant after having dealt it at least 96% of its Health with Basic Attacks of the Searing Flesh ability.
• Reward: a sausage of your choice barbecue-cooked by HiRezTodd himself (limited to 5000, others will get a Knacky pre-chewed by HiRezTina (one chance on 10000 with a dedicating)).

► Fire Quest III : Inferno
- Kill 10000 Sylvanus in the jungle with Basic Attacks from a Pyro character or with fire abilities.
• Reward: Bonsai Sylvanus Limited Skin

► Fire Quest IV : Fire Blast
- Heal an ally for 100000 points with Da Ji, Hou Yi, Vulcan or Xing Tian.
• Reward: Fire Stone

► Ice Quest I : Ice Cube
- In League, use 50 times Frost Breath against an Ymir.
• Reward: Vodka Avatar

► Ice Quest II : Mister Freeze©
- Kill 100 ennemy gods after they reached 0% of their Mana and 100% of their Mana in the same fight.
• Reward: Mister Freeze© Loading Screen

► Ice Quest III : Deepfreeze
- Destroy 10 Phoenixes in the same match without any help from Minions.
• Reward: a giveway entry for a night in the cold room in HiRez Studios underground

► Ice Quest IV : Absolute Zero
- In all game modes, win a match with a 0/0/0 score.
- • Reward: Access to Jungle Practice and Custom Challenges

Firefrost Free Access (800 Gems)

► Access to Casual Mode (Conquest excepted) and to Tag Adventure

Tag Adventure

Items – Balances

Deathbringer

“We noticed this item wasn’t respecting its mythologia, so we modified it, according to new Malice change.”

• Critical Chance Reduced from ~~25%~~ to 1%.
• Old passive removed.
• NEW PASSIVE: Every Basic Attack hit has 10% chance Executing the target. Does not affect Buildings.

Bloodforge

“We speak about Forge, so we modify a bit the item.”

• Physical Power Reduced from 75 to 10.
• NEW PASSIVE (added to the old one) : Physical Power Increased permanently by 5 for every God killed and by 1 for every Minion killed. Current (and not total or basic) Move Speed Reduced by 1% per Stack permanently.

Odysseus Bow

“HiRezErez has read HOMERE’s Odyssey this week-end and asked us to modify the item to sitck with his book. We haven’t understood everything but we apply.”

• NEW PASSIVE: the bearer cannot perform any Basic Attack unless he has at least 400 Physical Power.

Hydra’s Lament

“Actually, we thought Hydra was the trident you can see on the picture. Tina explained us, no one believed her and we laughed at her. Well…Tina won a lawsuit and, furthemore, won’t be censored anymore on her Voice Packs or Announcer Packs…in the meanwhile…this is the item…”

• Physical Power Reduced from 40 to 1+1 per stack.
• Cooldown Reduced from ~~10%~~ to -20%.
• Old passives removed.
• NEW PASSIVE: if you are killed by anything but a fire attack, you gain a Stack, you respawn and you earn a head. A random friend from your friend list joins the game and also plays your char. If he was in game, he is considered as a leaver. If your friend list is empty or all are already playing with you, a random player or a Bot is added. If you are killed by a fire attack, you lose a Stack, so a head, then you respawn. The player will go back to his game when his head falls if it’s not over yet. Other heads cannot Surrend the game. If you are killed by a fire attack and don’t have any more Stack, you cannot respawn. If you have 9 Stacks and get a new one, a copy of your character joins the game Level 1, 1500 Gold and with Hydra’s Lament, controlled by a friend.
• REMINDER: towers and Phoenixes use fire attacks but not Jungle Creeps neither Gold Fury.

Gods – Balance

« To stick with the theme, as you have seen on the Adventure pictures, characters with a Fire Skin will deal more damage on characters with an Ice Skin, stacking. Characters with an Ice Skin will Slow characters with a Fire Skin.«

ACHILLES

NEW PASSIVE: Heel

• Achilles is not being dealt any damage. If Achilles is been dealt damage from behind from the ground, he is dealt 100 times the damage.

HEL

Switch Stances

• 1% chances to switch to $£¤~ Stance. This Stance is secret and won’t be detailed on the Patch Notes.

NE ZHA

“We had to to avoid a lawsuit.”

General

• Ne Zha is not considered anymore as a male character for MotD mainly but as transgender or Gender-Fluid..

ZEUS

“We have noticed we had forgot to add Crowd Control for Zeus, it’s fixed.”

Overcharge

• Any enemy God hit by Zeus’s Basic Attack is Mesmerized for 1s.

Chain Lightning

• Any enemy God hit is Silenced for 1s.

Aegis Assault

• All ennemies at 100 units are Taunted by the Shield.

Detonate Charge

• All enemies hit with a Charge are Slow by 10% for 1s and all Immunities are ignored.
• All enemies hit with two Charges are Slow by 20% for 2s, all Immunities ignored and are Root for 2s.
• All enemies hit with three Charges are Slow by 30% for 3s, all Immunities ignored, are Root for 3s and are Stunned for 3s.
• All enemies hit with four Charges will be banned from the game for cheating.
